I have been practising medicine for 20 years now and practising gastroenterology and hepatology for the last 15 years.
I look after patients with all kinds of gastroenterology and hepatological presentation (stomach, bowel, liver, pancreas, jaundice gastrointestinal bleeding) when on call and proficient in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy (both upper GI and lower GI, colonoscopy). In particular I look after patients with all kinds of liver diseases.
I completed my specialist training under the national training scheme in the Mersey Deanery in 2014 and obtained my CCT (certificate of completion of specialist training) as well as successfully passing my specialty certificate examination, being awarded SCE in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
I am practising as a substantive consultant in gastroenterology and hepatology at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital since 2014.
My research interests are in viral hepatitis, complex portal hypertension and hepatocellular carcinoma (Lead Hepatologist for these) and published in renowned journals.

Having settled in Norwich eight years ago, I enjoy family life with my three beautiful children. To stay mentally and physically healthy I regularly play squash at the UEA and train in the gym three to four times a week. I am also a keen cyclist.
