I am a Consultant Urologist with a specialist interest in kidney and testicular cancer. I am one of the highest volume kidney surgeons in the country, performing over 100 kidney operations a year for cancer and benign kidney conditions.
General urology also forms a large part of my clinical practice, which includes prostate cancer diagnostics, lower urinary tract symptoms in men, blood in urine, circumcision, scrotal swellings (hydrocele, epididymal cysts and testicular lumps) and urinary tract infections in both men and women.
I qualified from Guy’s, King's and St Thomas’ in 2008. I completed core surgical training in East Anglia. Following this, I undertook research in prostate cancer genetics at the University of East Anglia, for which I was awarded a MD (Doctor of Medicine). After I completed my specialist registrar training in London, I undertook a fellowship in complex renal and retroperitoneal surgery for testis cancer at the Royal Marsden Hospital before being appointed as a consultant urologist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in 2020.
I am the lead for the urology services at the James Paget University Hospital, and I also hold an honorary contract with the Royal Marsden Hospital in London enabling my patients to have direct access to one of the UKs leading cancer centres.
