I have been a consultant Thoracic Surgeon since 2016. I provide full spectrum of thoracic surgery with particular interest in mini-invasive surgery.
I specialise in surgical treatment of any thoracic pathologies, including treatment of lung cancers, metastases, pleural pathologies and pathologies of the chest wall, mediastinum and diaphragm,
As a consultant thoracic surgeon, I have performed over 1,000 thoracic surgical procedures and over 300 curative lung cancer resections with favourable clinical outcomes in comparison with national figures. Majority (80%) of lung cancer resections were performed as keyhole surgery.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am honoured to be a clinical lead for thoracic surgery in NNUH and Associate professor of Surgery for St George's University in Grenada.
I also enjoy education, training and charity work. I work as Educational supervisor for trainees in East of England cardiothoracic rotation and I am member of panel of experts for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
