MCSP, Post. Grad. Dip. Manip. Ther., MSc
I qualified in 1989 and worked in the NHS before going into private practice in Australia. I returned to the UK in 2003 to establish my practice at Spire Norwich Hospital. I specialise in the assessment and treatment of spinal and musculoskeletal conditions, where I take an initial comprehensive assessment and devise an individual treatment programme.
Treatment approaches include 'hands on' techniques (mobilisation and manipulation), exercise (stretch and strengthen), advice on how patients can manage conditions for themselves and support in return to work were applicable. Treating complex cases I link with orthopaedic and rheumatology consultants for appropriate further assessment and investigations.
I completed a postgraduate diploma in manipulative therapy at Curtin University (Perth, WA) and an MSc in musculoskeletal practice at the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK).
