Virtual consultations:
My main areas of clinical expertise include diagnosis and management of gynaecological cancers, colposcopy, management of irregular vaginal bleeding, postmenopausal vaginal bleeding, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and vulval conditions.
I am a highly skilled laparoscopic surgeon and have been a Consultant Gynaecologist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital since 2012. Since joining the Norfolk and Norwich team, I have significantly advanced the array of surgical options available to patients. I also have special training in extensive surgery for patients diagnosed with ovarian cancer. In recognition of this expertise, I have been invited to teach colleagues at both national and international workshops.
I am keen to advance my practice through research. I have published several papers in international gynaecological journals and presented at national and international conferences. My main areas of research include development of pathways for the management of women with postmenopausal bleeding, ovarian cancer surgery and postmenopausal hormone therapy. I am also a reviewer for various medical journals.
I trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the East of England Deanery, including two years of sub-specialty training in Gynaecological Oncology at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. I also completed a secondment at the Belfast City Hospital where I developed my expertise in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
