Led by fully qualified breast surgeons and supported by specialist radiologists and pathologists, the clinic is accessible to everyone, with or without a GP referral.

Funding your own treatment

Our self–funding price packages are tailored to your needs and may depend on the diagnostic tests recommended by your consultant so we are unable to advise a fixed price.

Using private health insurance

Consultant radiologists

Our team of Consultant Radiologists work together to provide an extensive and flexible breast imaging service. They are each trained in symptomatic breast imaging, working alongside their surgical colleagues in the One-stop breast clinic and in screening for breast disease.

Specialist breast care nurse

Trudy Garriock is the Breast Care Nurse at Spire Norwich Hospital and is available to provide support, education and information to patients attending the clinic. Trudy will be there when patients receive their results and will go through the information the consultant has given them again, either directly after consultation or at a later date.

Trudy will also be available for patients to contact if they have any questions or concerns regarding diagnosis or treatment.

One-stop breast clinic next steps

A number of your diagnostic test results will be available immediately and your consultant will talk through test findings with you and advise you on the next steps.

If tests confirm a diagnosis of breast cancer your consultant will discuss treatment options with our multi-disciplinary team of breast care specialists. If required, you may also be referred for further opinion and care to a consultant oncologist. Subsequent treatment may include one or a combination programme of surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and/or hormone therapy. Appointments for onward referrals, diagnostics or treatment will be discussed before you leave the clinic.
