MBBS, MRCP (UK), FRCR
I trained in general medicine and general radiology in Cardiff with a sub speciality interest in cardiothoracic imaging. In 2011, I spent a year at St. Georges Hospital, London completing a fellowship in thoracic imaging. I completed a second fellowship in 2012 in multi-modality cardiac and thoracic imaging including specialist heart-lung transplant imaging in the internationally renowned The Royal Brompton and Harefield Trust, London.
I have been a full time consultant radiologist at University Hospitals Leicester NHS Trust since March 2013.
My areas of interest include cardio-vascular risk assessment using CT coronary calcification, non-invasive imaging of patients with chest pain, heart failure, cardiomyopathies and valvular heart diseases. My practice focuses on the most modern and up-to-date imaging techniques to assist my medical / surgical colleagues in the non-invasive planning of tran-aortic valvular implantation (TAVI) and imaging of coronary artery disease.
I am also proficient in ultrasound and CT guided interventional procedures of the chest / pleura.
