I graduated from Bombay University in 1993 and obtained a postgraduate qualification in General Medicine from Bombay University in 1996. I completed specialist training in Clinical Oncology from the West Midlands Deanery following initial training at the Clatterbridge Centre of Oncology, Liverpool. I have a postgraduate certificate in medical science from Liverpool University.
I have significant experience in the treatment of urological malignancies including prostate cancer, bladder cancer and kidney cancer as well as skin cancers.
I was appointed as Consultant Clinical Oncologist in 2006 at the University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. I take part in a number of clinical trials in oncology and I take the role of either principal investigator or co-investigator for a number of trials at my institution.
