MBBS, MRCP, FRCPath
I have been a consultant haematologist for over four years. I treat all haematological disorders, with research interests in myeloma.
To date I have done numerous diagnostic bone marrow examinations. I treat on an average 50-75 outpatients and 20 inpatients per week in a busy haematology service delivered at Heartlands, Good Hope and Princess Elizabeth Hospital in Guernsey. We are a group of 9 haematologists covering a population of 1.2 million people in one of the largest trusts in the country. I lead on over 6 clinical trials via our research unit in MIDRU.
I trained in London and Birmingham. I completed my super-specialisation in stem cell transplantation at the Hammersmith Hospital, London before joining Heartlands Hospital.
I lead the education portfolio delivering a CPD accredited education program at Heartlands Hospital. I am also responsible for training haematology registrars and am a named clinical supervisor. I have clinical responsibility of delivering a service in day units at both heartlands and good hope hospitals.
