Virtual consultations:
As a General Neurologist, I manage a wide range of neurological disorders. My special interest is movement disorders and Parkinson's disease. I see a wide range of patients from different types of headaches, to neurodegenerative conditions like Parkinson's disease and parkinsonism to dementias, seizures, myasthenia gravis etc.
After I graduated in medicine and completed specialist training in internal medicine in Shiraz University-Iran, I worked as faculty in University hospitals and later had independent inpatient and outpatient medical work. Since 2003, I have worked in medicine in the UK and achieved MRCP.
I started to work in the field of neurology few years later and soon entered the West Midland Neurology training. I started to work as neurology consultant in 2014 in both the NHS and private sector in Birmingham and Coventry hospitals. I developed an interest in movement disorders and Parkinson's disease from the beginning of my neurology career and have been a member of the Movement Disorder Society, which I regularly attend meetings.
I retired from the NHS in 2020 and now only work privately. I use my experience and understanding of the medical disorders in the care and management of neurology patients conditions.
