I have been working in the field of Gynaecology since 2004, gaining valuable experience and expertise over the years. Previously, I served as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Birmingham City Hospital. During my time there, I had the privilege of leading a specialist vulval service and acting as the hospital Lead for colposcopy.

In 2019, I established 'The Vulval Clinic,' a dedicated facility aimed at managing and treating women with various vulval disorders, including lichen sclerosis, lichen planus, recurrent thrush, vulval pain, painful sex, and pre-cancer of the vulva. My passion lies in the field of vulval pain disorders, particularly Vulvodynia, and I have developed specialised skills in psychosexual medicine to provide comprehensive care in this area.

As a certified colposcopist, I am proficient in managing any abnormal smear test results. I also have the ability to assist women who may find the procedure uncomfortable or traumatic, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing throughout.

In addition to my specialisation, I regularly attend to a wide range of gynaecological concerns. This includes managing period problems, contraception, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), menopause symptoms, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) issues. My aim is to provide personalised care and support to all my patients, utilising my knowledge and compassionate approach to ensure their wellbeing.
