I have been a Consultant Ophthalmologist working full time at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust since 2008. My special interests include phacoemulsification small incision cataract surgery, glaucoma, spectacle independence, diabetic eye diseases and general ophthalmology.
I completed my training from Yorkshire and Nottingham and completed an 18 months fellowship in glaucoma and cataract surgery at Western Eye Hospital in London and a 12 months fellowship in diabetic eye diseases at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.
I have published extensively on diabetic macular oedema, cataract surgery, glaucoma and also have an honorary senior lecturer position at the Aston University.
I am the lead glaucoma consultant in the NHS hospital and have clinics at Heartlands and Solihull hospitals. I also provide private services at Spire Parkway Hospital, Solihull. I am a recognised provider for most of the insurance providers including BUPA and AXA.

I have a very keen interest in all racquet sports and have represented various clubs in squash and Badminton. I am a very keen sci-fi movie watcher and love to cook. I have travelled widely across Europe and most parts of India.
