I qualified from University College London Medical School. I trained exclusively in specialist vascular and endovascular surgery in Birmingham and Australia and have a doctorate in vascular research from Birmingham University.
In 2011, I was appointed as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham and was Clinical Director from 2015 to 2024. I lecture internationally and train colleagues all over the world in keyhole treatments for varicose veins.
I am a knowledgeable and approachable expert in keyhole procedures for venous disease and varicose veins. I specialise in minimally invasive endovascular techniques, including ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, radiofrequency ablation and veinlite transilluminated microsclerotherapy.
