"The services provided by Spire Parkway Hospital has a pleasant atmosphere and heightened level of professionalism."

Specialises in

  • Urodynamics
  • Stress urinary incontinence
  • Bladder investigations
  • Hysterectomy surgery
  • Hysteroscopy

I have been a Urogynaecology Consultant in NHS for the last seven years. I am an expert in treating women with prolapse and urinary incontinence.

My special interest is to treat women who have been deemed unfit for surgery due to medical conditions as I can do certain surgeries under local anaesthesia. I also have developed expertise in urinary incontinence surgery using patient's own tissues and without the use of mesh.

I enter all of my surgical data on British Society of Urogynaecology surgical database. In this way I am able to counsel patients about my success rate and complication rate.

I sit on national interview panel for trainee doctors selection annually in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and am also a panel member for part 3 MRCOG examination. I also enjoy to deliver lectures to 3rd year medical students at the Birmingham Medical school, as well as being an examiner for 4th year Medical students.

I have been actively involved in charity work in Pakistan for patients who can't afford medical treatment in the past, and I intend to do more charity work in India and Pakistan in future. I have been invited to deliver talks in community settings in Birmingham by various charities about common gynae/bladder problems in females.
