I am a highly experienced Specialist Orthoptist with expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions. With over 13 years of experience in my current position at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust (formerly Heart of England NHS Trust), I am dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients.
My passion for helping patients with eye conditions led me to my current position, where I focus on the management of double vision (diplopia) and lazy eye (amblyopia) - a condition where one eye doesn't develop properly. I specialise in the assessment, diagnosis and management of conditions that affect the movement of the eyes (Neurogenic, mechanical and myogenic disorders of ocular motility), as well as adult and paediatric squints (strabismus) when the eyes are misaligned.
I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2006 with a BMedSci (Hons) in Orthoptics. I began my career as an Orthoptist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge before moving on to the Bradford Royal Infirmary.
