I am an accredited Audiovestibular Physician who specialises exclusively in balance disorders (vertigo/dizziness), hearing disorders and tinnitus. I am on the General Medical Council's Specialist Register.
I graduated from the University of Ghana. After pursuing training in ENT in Ghana and the UK and obtaining the FRCS, I joined the Pan-Thames specialist training in Audiological Medicine, obtaining an MSc from University College London in 2005 and a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2006.
I undertook my training at the Royal National Nose, Throat and Ear Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and St Helier Hospital.
I was appointed a Consultant in Audiovestibular Medicine in Portsmouth Hospitals initially as locum in 2006 and substantively in 2009. I am the Medical Lead for the Portsmouth and Isle of Wight Newborn Hearing Screening Programme.
