"I enjoy being part of a collaborative team that shares my enthusiasm for world-class patient-focused care."

I am a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specialising in knee-related conditions, dedicated to providing patient-centred care. I take the time to understanding your concerns and objectives, to personalise the treatment options and empower you to make decisions about your care.

With a strong belief in honesty, integrity, and collaboration, I work closely with a network of healthcare professionals and knee rehabilitation specialists to ensure the best possible outcomes, utilising non-surgical strategies where feasible, and advanced surgical techniques when necessary. My goal is to optimise your health and well-being, helping you return to the activities you love with confidence, so you can live life your way.

I completed my specialist training in 2017, earning two master’s degrees in Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics. I then pursued fellowship training and gained consultant experience at University College London Hospital, where I was part of a pioneering team advancing robotic surgical techniques and treating both elite and recreational athletes.

As a specialist knee surgeon, I have a particular interest and expertise in treating sports injuries, knee arthroscopy, meniscal repair, ACL reconstruction, PCL and multiligament knee injuries, cartilage repair, joint preservation and osteotomies. I also perform partial, total, and revision knee replacements and am part of the highly experienced multidisciplinary team at the regional Major Revision Centre at Queen Alexandra Hospital.

I am passionate about providing expert care to both adults and younger patients, taking a collaborative approach to treating knee injuries in adolescents to ensure the best possible outcomes.

I have contributed to textbook chapters and international journal articles on advanced surgical techniques, knee reconstruction, and robotics. My current research focuses on the use of AI in arthroscopic surgery and promoting sustainability in orthopaedics.

Beyond clinical practice, I serve on The Bone & Joint Journal Education Committee and lead Audit and Quality Improvement at Queen Alexandra Hospital, where I also run the Acute Knee Clinic alongside fellow knee surgeons and therapists. I have played a key role in designing and implementing junior doctor teaching programs and am committed to fostering inclusive surgical environments by championing the elimination of unconscious bias.

Having competed in martial arts, rugby, and ultra-distance triathlons, I understand firsthand the importance of physical well-being for both individuals and teams. This experience drives my passion for helping patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their recovery.

I believe in a team-based approach to patient care and take great pride in working collaboratively to support each patient on their journey toward achieving their physical goals.

These examples of patient and colleague feedback provide insight into the kind of surgeon I am:

"Excellent colleague taking on complex cases and getting great results. Looks after patients with great skill and care"

"He cares deeply for the wellbeing of his patients and goes above and beyond to provide the best care for them. His clinical knowledge and technical skills are very impressive.”

"Not only has he proven to be an excellent surgeon, but his bedside manner and overall practice of care is unparalleled. As practitioners we know how rare it is that a doctor is this invested in patients and we are so grateful she is under his care."
