"The team at Spire Hospital are forward-thinking and dynamic, providing helpful and accommodating support for my clinical work."
I am a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist practice in hip and knee disorders. My specific interest lies in hip sports injury and hip preservation field, aiming to prevent or delay the onset of hip arthritis by addressing underlying conditions.
I am an expert at hip preservation surgery, performing a range of surgical procedures, including hip arthroscopy, femoral osteotomy and soft tissue procedures. However, if the hip joint is beyond repair due to advanced nature of arthritis. I offer hip arthroplasty, thus providing a full range of procedures relevant to a hip joint.
I also specialise in knee surgery; offering joint replacement or arthroscopy surgical expertise. With advancing technology, I am able to offer robot-assisted knee replacements, thus ensuring enhanced precision and accuracy of implant placement.
In addition to practicing orthopaedic surgery in the UK, I also work at Ave Maria Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. I have been part of the team responsible for conception and setting the hospital up, and continue to fulfil my managerial and visiting surgeon duties.
I completed my medical degree at the University of Southampton and became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007. My Basic Trauma and Orthopaedic Training was in Wessex region, followed by Specialist Fellowship Training in Hip Arthroscopy and Preservation Surgery in Reading (Royal Berkshire County Hospital, Reading).

Additionally, I attained PhD in Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research (University of Southampton), MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering (Cardiff University) and Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PG CertMedEd, University of Dundee).
