I completed my advanced pain training in Northern Ireland and have been a Consultant Pain Specialist and Anaesthetist in the University Hospital of Morecambe since 2014.
I perform a variety of interventional procedures both under fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance, such as medial branch, facet, epidural and sacro-iliac joint injections, stellate ganglion block, trigger point injection, radiofrequency ablation and sympathetic and peripheral nerve blocks.
I also lead the multidisciplinary team to formulate management plans for complex pain conditions. I am a dedicated and compassionate pain specialist, and promote high quality pain education to my patients and other healthcare professionals.
In addition I fulfil various roles as an educational supervisor, appraiser and mentor, and I am also an examiner at the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Ireland.
I like to stay up to date with latest developments in the field of pain medicine.
