I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising primarily in disorders of the foot and ankle.
After primary qualification from the University of Bombay, I underwent Orthopaedic Residency training in Bombay which culminated in the award of the MS (Orthopaedics) and Diploma in Orthopaedics in 1989 and 1988 respectively. I continued my Orthopaedic training in the United Kingdom, on the North East Thames, Oxford and Cambridge Rotations. I obtained the FRCS Orth in 1998 and continued my Fellowship training in London, Dallas and Baltimore. I was appointed Consultant Orthpaedic Surgeon at Stockport NHS Trust in 1998.
I also hold a Honorary Senior Lecturer (Teaching and Research) Contract with the University of Manchester.
I have published extensively on various aspects of Foot and Ankle Surgery and has described several innovative Surgical Techniques. I have also contributed chapters in Orthopaedic Surgery textbooks and lectured extensively at National and International meetings.

Mr Dalal has special interests in Forefoot Deformity correction and Achilles Tendon Disorders in addition to Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Ankle.
