Virtual consultations:
I am a highly experienced gynaecologist who initially trained in India, then practiced in Saudi Arabia and finally further enhanced my experience and training in the field of urogynaecology in the UK, achieving a special skills module in urodynamics, ATSMs in urogynaecology, labour ward and early pregnancy and acute gynaecology.
I achieved my CCT in February 2010 and have been working as a lead in urogynaecology at Macclesfield ever since my appointment later that year. I have introduced the electronic personal assessment questionnaires in my practice at Macclesfield DGH in 2014 following my successful bursary application through North West Regional Innovation Funding. This has facilitated my work in the clinics, since it has allowed a thorough assessment of patients with urinary incontinence and genital prolapse, thereby also helping me to evaluate their outcomes following surgical interventions.
I utilise the British society of urogynaecology database to log my patients’ outcomes. I am the audit lead for gynaecology and initiate regular audits to improve service in patient outcomes. As well as this, I am a member of the ALSG and a MOET trainer too. In addition to this, I consider teaching to be an important aspect of my work.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Ms Sara Nausheen at Spire include:

Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists,

After my work, I like to spend quality family time with my husband and two sons. Added to this, I enjoy outdoor pursuits and travelling abroad, experiencing different cultures. I am a patron of various charities and endeavour to do more voluntary work abroad, mainly in the developing world, giving my training skills and practical expertise to improve global standards of health for women.
