I have been a Consultant Neurologist since 2007. I run a busy General Neurology service in Macclesfield. I also jointly run the Greater Manchester Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorder service at Salford Royal. I am lead Neurologist on the Greater Manchester Deep Brain Stimulation programme.
My main research interests are in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. I lead up several UK-wide Parkinson’s disease research studies. I also run a busy general Neurology service specialising in headaches, epilepsy, stroke, blackouts and dizziness.
I have published widely in the field of Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders. I am an editorial reviewer for several Parkinson’s disease and Movement Disorders journals.
