I am a leading rheumatologist with over 25 years of experience helping people with bone and joint conditions feel better. I specialise in treating osteoporosis, arthritis, inflammatory conditions, connective tissue disorders and metabolic bone disease.

I provide treatment for a variety of bone and joint conditions, including inflammatory arthritis, gout, rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, joint hypermobility syndrome, ankylosing spondylitis, polymyalgia, Sjögren's syndrome and fibromyalgia.

I graduated from Birmingham Medical School in 1985 with a specialisation in Rheumatology. Since then, I have had the privilege of teaching undergraduates and trainees in Rheumatology and providing clinical supervision. I have participated in research studies on topics like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

I am also proud to be a University of Birmingham Medical School Senior Academy Tutor at the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust Undergraduate Academy and a visiting Professor at the University of Worcester.

In addition to my academic and research experience, I have spent several years managing and improving rheumatology services. I was the Clinical Director for the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust Rheumatology Department, where I worked closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

My goal is to help you feel better and enjoy life more fully, and I believe in taking a patient-centred approach to treatment. That means working with you to create a personalised plan that meets your unique needs and preferences. If you're struggling with bone or joint pain, don't suffer in silence. Get in touch with me today and let's start working together to improve your quality of life.
