I have worked as a Consultant Breast Surgeon in Worcestershire since 2006. In my private practice I run a team of female specialists looking after all breast problems including breast pain, cysts, lumps, nipple discharge and all aspects of breast cancer. I offer rapid access to assessment and treatment in a purpose built facility, with appointments available within a couple of days as opposed to the typical NHS two week waiting time. I am BUPA (and most other providers) fee assured, meaning there will rarely be any excess charges.

Prior to this I trained as an undergraduate in medical sciences at Cambridge University and then did my clinical training at Oxford University. I spent the next 13 years in surgical training in London teaching hospitals, before moving home to the West Midlands. Towards the end of my higher surgical training I did an additional two year master’s degree at London University looking at gene therapy in the prevention and treatment of cancer and a year in a National Oncoplastic Breast Fellowship, learning how to use plastic surgical techniques to complement and enhance the results of breast cancer surgery. I am fully trained in breast reconstruction and I offer this as part of my regular NHS and private practice.

In my time in Worcestershire I have always worked as a member of the NHS multidisciplinary team and have been both the clinical lead and audit lead for the team as well. I am delighted to have been nominated twice for the NHS Trust’s “Patient’s Choice” staff achievement award in 2015 and 2022.
