MBBS, MS (Orth), MCh (Orth), FEBOT, FRCS (Orth)
I currently work as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust since December 2017. I predominantly deal with shoulder and elbow referrals from primary care and complex upper limb trauma referrals from my colleagues.
My main area of interests are arthroscopic shoulder surgery, shoulder replacements and sports injuries in young people. Over the years, I have also developed special interest in managing fracture sequelae like non-unions.
I work in close collaboration with my upper limb surgeon colleagues and other health care workers like physiotherapists, radiologists, rheumatologists, pain specialists and GPs to get the best outcome for our patients.
After completing my registrar training, I did a fellowship at University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. Following this, I worked as a Locum Consultant at Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Trust and Kingston Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust before I joined Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust as a substantive consultant.
