My elective practice is mainly devoted to the treatment of problems of the hip and knee joint. My specialisation lies in the surgical treatment of young patients with hip disorders and I am able to offer an effective surgical option to help such individuals return to full activity.

I also perform hip and knee surgery using the Mako robotic arm which helps to improve the precision of hip and knee replacement surgeries.

After graduating from Medical School, I completed my Surgical and Orthopaedic training in Athens, Greece. Following completion of specialist training, I moved to the UK where I undertook several distinguished Fellowships in: Trauma (AO Foundation) in Leeds, Musculoskeletal Oncology at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, Knee Surgery at York Hospital, Hip Surgery / Hip Arthroscopy at the Richard Villar Practice in London.

Following my Fellowships, I held the post of Locum Consultant in Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, before being appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Hereford County Hospital in 2012.

I maintain a keen interest in teaching and am on the faculty for a renowned international course which trains surgeons on surgical techniques in hip arthroscopy. My research interests have led to peer-reviewed publications, predominantly on hip surgery. I review regularly for The Bone and Joint Journal (formerly known as the "Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (BR)").
