I completed my postgraduate medical training at City Hospital, Birmingham. Following this, I did my specialist haematology training at Wessex in 2011 and since then, I have been working as a consultant in haematology at University Hospital Southampton.
I have a wide area of interest in the field of haematology, with particular focus on investigation of low blood counts such as anaemia or neutropenia, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), acute myeloid leukaemias (AML), myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), multiple myeloma and haemoglobinopathy disorders.
I am a member of UK PNH Physicians network. I am involved in clinical research and currently, a Principal Investigator for a number of AML, MDS and MPN clinical trials. I am also actively involved in training and education and serving as the Training Programme Director in Haematology for Wessex Deanery, since May 2016.
