Adam Moors trained at St Mary's Hospital in London and underwent postgraduate gynaecological training in both the London and Wessex regions. His research fellowship with the Medical Research Council in Southampton led to the award of a doctorate in genital tract immunology applied to infection and endometriosis. His continuing research interests are in endometriosis and menstrual disorders. Mr Moors has a special interest in endoscopic surgery in gynaecology and leads this specialty at the Princess Anne Hospital. His training was undertaken both in this country and at the International Centre for Endoscopic Surgery in Clemont-Ferand in France. His particular areas of surgical expertise are in laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis, ovarian cysts, adhesions and tubal surgery; and hysteroscopic surgery for menstrual disorders, fibroids and subfertility
