Mr David Constable-Phelps

Consultant Gynaecologist and Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon

BM, BSCCP, PhD, MRCOG

I am a sub-specialised consultant gynaecological oncology surgeon, with a background in general obstetrics and gynaecology. I pride myself on my diligent and personal approach - achieving the best outcomes for my patients. My expertise lies within gynaecological cancer care and I have a particular interest in radical ovarian and endometrial cancer surgery.

I have a busy NHS practice, covering all aspects of gynaecological cancer, including rapid-access post-menopausal bleeding clinics and colposcopy clinics for cervical abnormalities. I am a skilled laparoscopic surgeon and endeavour to achieve a minimal access approach whenever appropriate.

I specialise in gynaecology with sub-specialty accreditation in gynaecological cancer. I have specific interests in radical ovarian cancer surgery, laparoscopic hysterectomy, radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer, colposcopy, vulvoscopy and vulval disorders, hysteroscopy and management of postmenopausal bleeding and polyps, and ovarian cysts.
