I am a Paediatric Gastroenterologist and I am also the Clinical Lead for Paediatric Gastroenterology at one of the renowned children’s Hospitals – Bart’s and the London Children’s Hospital.
I acquired my specialist paediatric training in London. My training in paediatric gastroenterology was at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Kings College Hospital, Royal London Hospital and St George’s University Hospital. I gained my Masters in Gastroenterology from Queen Mary’s University of London. I became a full time NHS Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist in 2016. I am currently working as a Paediatric Gastroenterologist at Royal London Hospital, Bart’s Health NHS Trust. Prior to this I was a full time consultant at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
My special interests are nutrition, paediatric inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease and allergic gut disease. I am research active and have been part of international clinical trials in inflammatory bowel disease (IBS), constipation and short gut. I actively teach in MSc gastroenterology and teach medical students at Queen Mary’s University London.
As a general paediatrician with special interest in gastroenterology I can help your child with following issues: chest infections, cough, feeding problems, food allergies and intolerances, colic, constipation with poo accidents, swallowing issues, diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting, inflammatory bowel disease, reflux, Crohn’s disease, eosinophilic oesophagitis, ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, helicobacter Pylori, lactose intolerance.
I have performed around 4000 upper GI endoscopies and around 2000 colonoscopies.
