I am a Consultant Cardiologist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. I consult on a wide range of heart conditions including palpitations, valvular heart disease, hypertension, dyslipidaemias and heart failure.

I undertook training at St Thomas’ and the London Chest hospitals where I have received comprehensive training in all aspects of adult general cardiology with a sub-specialty interest in coronary intervention (angioplasty). I specialise in the investigation and treatment of coronary artery disease with a particular interest in complex coronary interventions and percutaneous treatment of coronary chronic total occlusions. I am leading the CTO (chronic total occlusion) programme at St Thomas' Hospital.

I am actively involved in clinical research with a specific interest in the areas of preventive and interventional cardiology. I have completed my PhD thesis on primary dyslipidaemias and have authored a number of peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.
