"The facilities at Spire St Anthony's are excellent. All the staff are dedicated to the patient journey."
I am a UK trained Dermatologist with special interests in general dermatology, skin cancer, vulval dermatology and paediatric dermatology. To date, I have performed over 2,000 skin procedures including skin cancer surgery and mole removal in both my NHS and private practice.
In addition to the management of skin cancer and pre-cancerous skin problems, I perform regular general skin checks, and am experienced in the management of rashes at various sites of the body. Examples of the conditions I treat include: eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, skin infections such as athlete’s foot and other fungal infections, cysts, folliculitis, acne, seborrhoeic dermatitis, rosacea, alopecia, nail problems, lichen planus, excessive sweating and lupus.
I qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine in 1999, with an intercalated BSc in Neuroscience. I was then appointed to the South West London General Medical Training Rotation, completing my postgraduate training at St George’s and The Royal Marsden Hospitals. I completed my Higher Specialist Training, culminating in being awarded competitive Clinical Training Fellowships from The British Skin Foundation and Barts and The London Charitable Trust for research into Basal Cell Carcinoma at The Royal London Hospital in 2010.
My NHS consultant post is at Croydon University Hospital, where I treat adults and children with a wide variety of dermatological conditions. I am Clinical Lead for Dermatology at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust.
I have presented at institutions such as The Royal Society of Medicine, The British Association of Dermatologists and The British Society for Investigative Dermatology.
