MBBS BSc (Hons) MRCP
I am a Consultant Cardiologist at St George’s, Epsom, and St Helier Hospitals, with over five years of experience caring for patients with a wide range of heart conditions. I see patients with symptoms such as chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, and blackouts. My key areas of expertise include coronary artery disease, aortic stenosis, mitral regurgitation, and stroke prevention in patients with a patent foramen ovale.
I have extensive experience in performing minimally invasive procedures to treat heart conditions, including coronary angioplasty (stent placement) and advanced structural heart interventions. I have personally performed over 2,000 coronary angioplasty procedures, ranging from routine elective cases to emergency interventions for heart attacks.
My expertise includes complex techniques such as rotational atherectomy (to remove calcified blockages) and intravascular imaging to ensure optimal outcomes. I am also part of the regional cardiogenic shock programme, delivering life-saving mechanical support to critically ill patients.
In addition, I have performed well over 1,000 structural heart interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), transcatheter mitral edge-to-edge repair (mTEER), patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure, and paravalvular leak (PVL) closure. My ability to personally analyse cardiac CT scans allows for tailored treatment strategies with excellent outcomes.
I thoroughly enjoy my work and the satisfaction that comes from helping my patients live longer and better lives.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. Having lived in Switzerland during my training we have all learned to ski and now enjoy time on the slopes wherever possible!
