I am a UK trained Consultant Dermatologist, and currently hold a substantive NHS post at Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust. I perform surgery to remove suspected skin cancers, moles, lumps and bumps.
I have a special interest in skin cancer, mole checks, and skin screening, and consult on all aspects of general dermatology including eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, vitiligo, hair and nail disease, and hyperhidrosis.
I understand the significant impact skin disease can have on the physical and mental wellbeing of patients, and take a personalised approach to achieve high quality care.
I qualified from University College London in 2015, and also hold a BSc(Hons) in Neuroscience. I undertook specialist Dermatology training locally in the competitive South West London deanery, which included St George’s, Kingston and St Helier Hospitals. I am a member of the British Association of Dermatologists and St John’s Dermatological Society.
I have received several prizes from the Royal Society of Medicine, British Association of Dermatologists and the annual Registrar prize at the St John’s Dermatological Society. At the end of my training I was selected as a UK representative for the prestigious Euroderm Excellence Program, ranking in the top three European trainees.
I have been active in clinical research and have numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching, and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare and Biomedical Education. Recently I have worked with the British College of Dermatology to develop an e-learning resource for GPs, and regularly teach medical students.
