I am a Consultant Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist at St George's Hospital in London. I have been a consultant radiologist for nine years and trained at St George's Hospital. I also completed a full year of additional specialist Interventional Radiology fellowship at the Charles Gardiner Hospital in Perth, Australia.
My particular areas of interest are uterine artery embolisation, pelvic congestion syndrome, the management of lymphovascular malformations with percutaneous sclerotherapy, salivary gland interventions and paediatric interventional radiology. In addition, I am also experienced in a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventions including biopsy and drainage, insertion of lines, portacaths, peripheral arterial angiography and angioplasty, venography, venoplasty, fistuloplasty, nephrostomy and ureteric stenting, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiography and biliary stenting, transjugular liver biopsy, insertion of feeding tubes (gastrostomy and gastrojejunostomy, nasogastric and nasojejunal tubes), all of which I perform routinely in my practice.
I am currently the Head of Department for the Department of Radiology at St George's Hospital. Prior to this I was deputy head of department and clinical governance lead for the department as well as co-chair of the Hospital Thrombosis Group. I was also previously the Regional Educational Adviser for South Thames for the Royal College of Radiologists (April 2014 - January 2017).
