I am a Consultant Neurologist with a specialist interest in the diagnosis and management of patients with epilepsy (including first fits and blackouts) as well as traumatic brain injury.
I also assess and manage a broad range of other neurological symptoms and disorders including but not limited to headaches (such as migraine/tension headaches), cerebrovascular disease, cognitive impairment, dementia, movement disorders (such as Parkinson's disease and tremors), multiple sclerosis, other neuroinflammatory disorders and disorders of the nerve (such as neuropathy).
I believe in delivering the highest quality patient care with emphasis on communication, clarity and compassion.
I completed my medical training at the University of London, along with a BSc in Immunobiology and Pathology at Imperial College London. My early post-graduate years were spent in the Oxford and London deaneries. This included a period of study on the value of array comparative genome hybridisation (array CGH) among tertiary epilepsy patients at King's College Hospital.
I completed my clinical neurology training at a number of neurosciences centres including Queen's Medical Centre and St George's University Hospital.
I am published in both scientific and clinical literature.
