I am a Consultant Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist working at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. I have particular interests in chronic liver disease, particularly cirrhosis. I regularly perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopies (OGD) and diagnostic colonoscopy including removal of polyps.
I graduated from Imperial College in 2006 and completed my specialist training in London, including an Advanced Training Programme at King's College Hospital Liver Transplant and Intensive Care Unit. I was awarded a PhD from Imperial College in 2017 for my research in Health Economic Analyses for Viral Hepatitis Screening Programmes. In 2016 I was invited to write the World Health Organisation (WHO) Guidelines on Management of Hepatitis C.
I am Lead for Inpatient Liver Care and provide liaison to Intensive Care.
My research interests currently centre around aspects of care for patients with cirrhosis. I am currently involved in investigator led research studies and publishing original research in peer review journals as well as presentations at international conferences.
