"I am committed to providing excellent care to all my patients."
I am an acute general paediatric consultant with a special interest in children with multiple allergies and asthma. I specialise in all aspects of general paediatrics including respiratory problems such as asthma and chronic cough, gastrointestinal problems such as babies with feeding difficulties, reflux, cow’s milk allergy, abdominal pain, constipation and all acute infections. I also see children with urinary infections and with multiple problems.
I have many years of experience and have worked in many specialised paediatric centres in London and abroad. I am currently part of the acute consultant team and lead the allergy service at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust in Fulham. I run regular general and allergy clinics and am a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and a member of the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
I perform baby checks and all types of immunisations. I have a special interest in paediatric allergies, asthma, hay fever and eczema. I perform allergy skin prick tests to help identify any possible allergies. This is usually done in my specialised clinics on Tuesday mornings at Spire St Anthony’s Hospital.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Dr Wathik Alsaud at Spire include:
