MSc Occupational Therapy
I assess and treat patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Treatment can include: splinting, scar management, oedema management, strengthening and building individualised rehabilitation programmes.
My clinical interests include the management of tendinopathies, problematic scars and sports injuries.
I qualified from Brunel University in 2014 with a master’s degree in occupational therapy. I completed my junior rotations within hand therapy, burns and plastic surgery reconstruction within a specialist NHS hospital. I then specialised specifically in hands and upper limb rehabilitation within Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital for six years, before transitioning into the private healthcare sector. I have completed further training by the British Association of Hand Therapist’s (BAHT), and I am also an active member of this specialist group. This allows me to keep up to date with the latest hand therapy interventions and best practice.
