I qualified from Imperial College School of Medicine at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, in 2003. My basic surgical training was completed in Guildford. I undertook my specialist Orthopaedic training on the London North West Thames Rotation, including the major trauma centre at St Mary’s Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, West Middlesex University Hospital, Croydon University Hospital and Kingston Hospital.
I completed my arthroplasty fellowship at the renowned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, subsequent to which I was appointed as a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon at Kingston Hospital, where I have worked since 2014. As part of the trauma team, I am also the hip fracture governance lead. My elective lower limb joint replacement work is carried out at the Elective Orthopaedic Centre in Epsom, (SWLEOC,) one of the busiest joint replacement centres in the UK.
I am an enthusiastic teacher. I organise and teach on hip and plastering courses at Kingston Hospital and am a regularly invited faculty member at Imperial College postgraduate courses and conferences.
