I have been qualified for 16 years and a Consultant Surgeon since 2022 with a specialist interest in general and colorectal surgery. My areas of particular specialism include colorectal cancer, all aspects of proctology, abdominal wall hernia, lumps and bumps and endoscopy. I have been fortunate to train at several world leading units including The Christie Hospital in Manchester, The Royal Marsden Hospital in London and The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
My work covers both open and laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and focuses particularly on minimalising in-hospital recovery when possible.
I cover all aspects of colo-proctology including haemorrhoids, anal fissure, anal tags, pilonidal surgery and anal itching. In addition, I perform diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy procedures as well as the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer, abdominal pain, stoma formation and closure and abdominal wall/inguinal hernia.
I am currently the Clinical Lead for Theatre at Epsom and St Helier Hospital and an educational/clinical supervisor for higher surgical trainees.
