I am one of the few ENT Surgeons designated for children's ear, nose and throat problems in London. I provide a tertiary level Paediatric ENT service at St George's University Hospital for referrals from all across South London and Surrey. I also see adult patients with ear, nose and throat problems and have a special interest in nose and sinus disorders.
I deal with all types of children's ear, nose and throat conditions, including complex airway conditions affecting children. I graduated in 1998 and became a fellow of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012. I underwent higher surgical training in adult and paediatric ear, nose and throat surgery at various tertiary hospitals in London and Manchester. In addition to this, I underwent 18 months fellowship training in children's ENT surgery at Evelina London Children's Hospital.
I have vast experience in treating ENT problems in adults. I treat all general ENT conditions in adults and have a special interest in nose and sinus disorders. I underwent fellowship training in rhinology, sinus and facial plastics surgery at St George's University Hospital, London in addition to my general ENT training.
I am an Honorary Senior Lecturer at St George's Medical School in London. I have a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) awarded by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2013. I took the American equivalent of the medical examinations (ECFMG) and spent time with a leading expert in Paediatric ENT in USA (Dr Mike Rutter in Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Ohio).
At St George's University Hospital, I provide paediatric airway support to the very busy paediatric and neonatal intensive care units. In addition to the common ear, nose and throat problems (glue ear, sleep apnoea due to large tonsils and adenoids, hearing loss, neck lumps, airway foreign bodies etc) I treat complex airway problems including subglottic stenosis, laryngeal and tracheal diseases.
