I am a Consultant Orthopaedic and Shoulder Surgeon. I trained at the University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka, 1979, and then at Edinburgh and Glasgow in 1985. I completed my masters degree in orthopaedic surgery at the University of London in 1988 and my FRCS (Orth) in 1990 in Edinburgh.
I treat a variety of shoulder conditions including soft tissue problems and frozen shoulders. Treatment includes keyhole surgery in the form of arthroscopy, subacromial decompression, arthroscopic repair and anterior stabilisation, total shoulder replacement, acromioclavicular joint reconstruction and fixation of clavicular fractures plus elbow arthroscopy.
