I am a leading gynaecologist and obstetrician in the NHS in London with more than 20 years' experience in this field. I have been trained in all aspects of benign gynaecology related problems and its management including diagnostic oncology (cancer) and Ultrasound scanning having completed the UK training programme via a highly competitive national selection.

My special interests include abnormal smear, colposcopy, loop excision treatment (LLETZ), vulval problems (itch/pain/discharge) and biopsy, period-related problems and its treatment (both medical and surgical), fibroids, fibroid resection and myomectomy, outpatient hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation and resection, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), pelvic pain, ovarian cyst, polyps, endometriosis, premenstrual syndrome, postmenopausal bleeding, menopause, contraception.

I hold a keen interest in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, hysterectomy, ultrasound scanning for gynae problems and early pregnancy and ectopic pregnancy.

To date I have performed over 100 hysterectomies, over 1,000 hysteroscopies, over 50 or more MyoSure procedures and resections, and more than 100 endometrial ablations, over 500 laparoscopic procedures including cystectomy and salpingectomy, salpingo oophorectomy, adhesiolysis, endometriosis treatment.

I perform over 720 colposcopy procedures and more than 200 large loop excision of the transformation zone (LLETZ) procedures yearly. I scan over a hundred patients yearly for early pregnancy and gynaecological problems.

Besides my busy clinical activities, I am a Senior Lecturer at University of London Medical School, a dedicated teacher to junior doctors and also a trainer and examiner for MRCOG examination and colposcopy.
