I have been a consultant in diagnostic and interventional radiology since 1996. I have an international reputation for my work in aortic and peripheral vascular disease. I am a specialist in arterial and venous imaging and endovascular interventions such as angioplasty, stenting and embolisation.
I am proficient in the interpretation of vascular, thoracic and abdominal imaging CT, MRI and ultrasound.
I was instrumental in the creation of the European Board of Interventional Radiology examination. I have written over 130 peer reviewed articles, edited 3 books, written 33 book chapters, and have given over 200 invited lectures. I am the current Vice President of CIRSE and an Editor for the journal Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology.
My clinical interests are the imaging and the endovascular treatment of aortic and peripheral vascular disease, and the use of embolization techniques for the management of haemorrhage, visceral artery aneurysms, complications of aortic endografting, and venous disease.
