Spire St Anthony’s Hospital is celebrating after successfully completing a national data quality audit programme for their hospital

Spire St Anthony’s Hospital has just completed the installation of 537 solar panels, as part of a major carbon reduction programme at the hospital. The panels are expected to generate 7% of the hospital’s annual electrical needs and reduce the overall carbon output of the hospital by 92,000 tonnes.

Spire St Anthony’s Hospital became the first private hospital in the UK to treat a patient living with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation by using the innovative FARAWAVE™ catheter and its accompanying FARAVIEW™ software module.

The hospital has been recognised as a youth-friendly health provider by achieving the ‘You’re Welcome’ accreditation, which aims to improve access to health services for patients under 18 years of age.
