MBBS BSc (Hons) MRCP (uk) MRCGP
I have been a GP for nearly 10 years and I have relished the responsibility of dealing with all aspects of General Practice as well as enjoying the challenge of playing a key role in chronic disease management and prioritising links which prove crucial to the management of complex medical cases. I have developed interests in Cardiology and Respiratory following completion of my MRCP as well as other interests in Endocrinology and men's health. I am proficient in joint injections and take a leading role in Musculoskeletal Medicine.
Since I completed MRCP(UK), I have continued to expand and develop upon my interests in Cardiology and Respiratory. My interests in Cardiology include chronic heart disease and heart failure. My interests in Respiratory include asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and I am actively involved in reviewing established and newly diagnosed asthmatic and COPD patients.
My further interests regarding Endocrinology has motivated me to take a leading role in diabetes encouraging and updating patients of best practice in diabetes management. My interest in men's health include identifying and reviewing newly diagnosed prostate and bladder complaints in patients (eg benign prostate hyperplasia and overactive bladder).
