I am a Gastroenterologist and General Physician. I regularly undertake gastroscopy and colonoscopy, both diagnostic and therapeutic. I also undertake outpatient clinics and abdominal ultrasound, Helicobacter pylori breath testing, SIBO testing, and lactose intolerance testing.
My interests include colon cancer diagnosis and prevention, removal of colon polyps, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, dyspepsia, reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease and diseases of the liver and pancreas.
I also have a special interest in the medical management of obesity, using medications including semaglutide (marketed as Ozempic and Wegovy).
I am the Endoscopy Lead at Spire Thames Valley Hospital. My duties in this include providing medical advice and support on clinical quality and regulatory compliance in endoscopy, maintaining clinical standards.
