Specialises in
I am a Consultant Spinal Orthopaedic Surgeon at Wexham and Heatherwood Hospitals and I have dual spinal fellowship training. My training took place at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore, as well as Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals London. I am well trained and experienced in degenerative spinal disease, spinal tumours, trauma, as well as deformity.
I have extensive subspecialty experience in spinal surgery. I specialise in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of spinal conditions including back and leg pain, neck and arm pain, spinal disc disease, spinal arthritis, spinal trauma, spinal deformity and spinal degenerative disease.
To date I have done well over 3,000 surgeries, spanning most of orthopaedics and spinal surgery.
I have been awarded the Minimally Invasive and Navigated Spine fellowship from The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. My training has enabled me to carry out microscopic spinal surgery, to facilitate early recovery and decrease post operative pain. I am part of the eGlobal international surgeons network and receive patients from all over the world.
I am currently the Royal College of Surgeons Tutor, for Trauma and Orthopaedics at Wexham Park Hospital.
Multidisciplinary team work ethos is at the core of my patient centred practice. This coupled with my training and experience, enables me to deliver excellent up to date care. Often surgery can be avoided, while resolving the patient's pain, however; if surgery is to be done, then it's done safely to the highest standards under my care.
