I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist practice in knee surgery. My practice includes sports injuries and chronic conditions affecting the knee.
I perform knee ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair and cartilage repair. I treat patellofemoral pain and instability. For early knee osteoarthritis I perform joint-preserving surgery such as osteotomy and focal resurfacing. For established arthritis I perform joint replacement, including partial and total knee replacement.
I graduated from Cambridge University in 2004, and completed specialist orthopaedic training at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals. I spent a further year working with two internationally-recognised knee surgeons: Professor Ponky Firer in Johannesburg and Mr Tim Spalding in Coventry.
I was appointed consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust in 2017.
I have a keen interest in a range of sports. Alongside my orthopaedic training, I was matchday team doctor for Saracens Rugby Club from 2012-2016.
